In recent years, there is a common phenomenon that an increasing group of people prefer to send their children to abroad for better education. Most of them hold an opinion that “Going abroad is the best way for children’s future.” Nevertheless, are they really right?
Of course, we cannot deny that in this century, elites can’t be lack for long-term social development, and we know that elites’ cultivation, to some extend, needs one-up education, new information and advanced technology, also we have to admit that foreign countries really can provide this situations to exert a beneficial influence to children. On all accounts, these parents, who greatly hope their offspring will turn out a dragon, seem not to approve of the proverb that all roads lead to Rome, believing that only have the experience in other countries can lead their children a good life.
However, since the “open door” policy takes efforts in China these years, our country has established well education systems for children’s bringing up, not simply in class-teaching but also in every sides of livings. As the market economy brings into play, those people who possess strong ability will come into favor more. So, it is observed that our country devotes much passion to education for children.
By my reckoning, not all children need to go abroad for receiving better education. It should be done in term of every children’s personality, interesting and the like character. Parents provide more, but will it be better if they pay any attention on children’s capabilities of assimilation?
