后面的when 引导的状语从句很简单，你肯定理解，但是有个单词你打错，导致我们理解费力
随着19世纪中叶，德国考古学家发现了奥林匹亚古城的废墟，人们对于古代奥运会是国际事件的兴趣，也与日俱增。
这里不能用不定式做定语，因为不定式表将来，什么什么的兴趣，这里因为是已经发生了的兴趣，因此可以用现在分词，receiving做后置...
