I’m Monica and I am fifteen years old.Iwould like to tell you some things about a good book,Chicken Soup for the TeenageSoul(《心灵鸡汤——青少年篇》).
In the book,the authors talked aboutalmost every aspect (方面) of a teenager’s life.There are lots ofgreat stories about pressure,love,studies and friendship.The teenagers whowrote the book showed other teenagers that life is not always fair and can bedifficult at times,but they never gave up.
One of the stories was about a girl whohad no friends and had problems at home.She joined a club,but she thoughtthat the other people didn’t like her.So she decided to jump off a bridge.When she was going to put a letter to her parents in the mailbox she found a letter from one of the club members.That girl wanted to be friends with her.Then she realized that someone reallycared about her and her life.This,and many other stories,showed me that manypeople care about you,even if you don’t know it.
Another story helped me look at life in adifferent way.It showed me that words can hurt other people because it is easyto say things,but it is not easy to take those words back.
The book is really very good,and I amsure you will learn a lot from it if you read it.
