有细微区别，
Is there any cake in the icebox? 提问冰柜里有没有蛋糕？ 强调有没有。
Are there any cakes ....也是对的，强调的是有没有一些。

如果非要数的话可以前面加piece~~~如
piggishly, he took two pieces of cake.
