Indeed we must speak in English learning but not just reading from the book; according to my observations,classmates around me do not really understand what they are reading about.
That's why I suggest that after all the groups have finished reading,you randomly assign one group to the stage,ask them to briefly retell in English the contents they have just read and talk about their thoughts.

you must speak out when learning english, instead of reading out after words. i saw schoolfellow reading things even unknown to himself. therefore, i suggest to select one group, on random basis, and let them paraphrase what they had read and present their opinions to the class after reading
