to be 与being 的区别

此处非谓语动词作状语,二者皆可作状语但不定式一般作目的或结果状语[to do 前一般有only,表意想不到结果eg.I arrived at the station only to find the train gone]或在be +情感形容词后作原因状语eg.I am sorry to hear that.不定式与谓语动词有先后关系； -ing分词在句首一般作时间,原因或条件状语,在句末一般作方式,伴随或结果状语但时间上与谓语动词同时,若强调先后用having done.[eg.Being ill,I can not work./Hearing the news,she cried./His parents both died ,leaving him alone./Having finished his work,he went home.
