Preparing Myself for College Life
Hello, everyone!My name is Mary. From what Mike said we know that he had great difficulty adjusting himself to his college life at first. He said he knew little about some basic life skills because he hadn’t prepared himself well for that before he went to college. I’m very glad that he is quite used to his college life now.
I’ll finish high school soon. I love my life here. I get along well with my friends and teachers here. After all, life in college is quite different. In order to get used to college life as soon as possible, I should prepare myself for that from now on. To start with, I will learn more about college both from college students and from other media. Second, I will learn to look after myself, such as doing some washing on my own and dealing with some financial problems.
I share the same idea with him that we should be active in things in college. I’ll try to become a member in the Students’ Union. I’ll develop interests in sports, reading and many other things. I have a strong belief that in my own capability and I firmly believe that only when I have a common ground, can I make more friends and make my college life more colorful.
