汉语的成语要是直译出来，就没有味道了。

有一句俗语 water under the bridge 大概表达了前尘往事，过眼云烟的意思
逝水，如果译作water that passing away太直白，根据意义，可以译作passing river？？
但是忘川是有特殊意义的，不适合跟逝水搭配，虽然看起来对仗工整。
