One possible version
Recently I‘ve made a survey about the “Reducing Burden” activity being carried in our school.
We middle school students used to be heavily burdened with all kinds of homework. We spent more than 6 hours in the classroom. At home, we still had to spend over 3 hours on our homework. So we had less than 7 hours to sleep. Besides, we had only about 3 hours‘ free time. As a result, our health was hardly damaged.
Now things are getting better, thanks to the activity. We can only spend about 5 hours in the classroom and hours for homework are shortened to about two hours so that we have two more hours to sleep and also two more hours for free time.
So I think this activity benefits not only our health but also our study.
