Today is the Environment Day. By 8 o’clock in the morning, the teachers and the students gathered at the entrance of the school and waited for the school bus. The bus came on time and took us to a small town near the city of Da-lian . We supposed to work in this area and we were all excited about the projects we were working on. First of all, we sticked some posters on the bullation board and gave out some leaflets to the people passing. Some of us gave talks in the public about the environment protection. We spent whole morning on these work. After lunch, we started cleaning. We swept the streets, picked up the rubbish in some public places and put them into the rubbish bags we brought. Then we planted some trees and flower bushes. The town centre looked clean and beautiful. What a transformation! By the time we arrived home it was evening. We all felt very tired but very happy.
