1、hundreds of,用来表示含糊的数目.
如hundreds of books,成百本书；hundreds of soldiers,数百名战士.
2、没有hundreds.表示准确数目时hundred不加s.
如two hundred trees,两百棵树; four hundred students,四百名学生.

hundred是表示确切的数字时用的，后不能加s。比如"300名老师"：three hundred teachers."500本书"：500 hundred books.
hundreds of 是用来表示不确切的数量时用的，比如“几百，好几百”等。“我们学校有几百个老师”：There are hundreds of teachers in our school.
