1、what 引导表语从句,所以充当表语,是名词性从句.句子的主语是books,谓语是are,to mankind是插入语； mankind 抽象名词泛指不用加冠词.
2、其实这句话结构很简单,主语we,谓语walk,其他三个介词短语都是修饰成分,从结构上看不是必要成分,但从内容上讲就一定要啦~
翻译：我们以最高尚的精神天马行空地想象着,穿过最引人入胜的地方.
反正意思是说我们徜徉在想象的世界里,而且是很美好的世界.
