Chinses clothes can be divided into three basic formation：.
上衣下裳制：裳is skirt,to make shirt and skirt seperately then wear them at the same time means 上衣下裳.上衣下裳 is the earliest Chinese clothing formation.As it shows in the picture ,there is a king in 冤服,which is one kind of 上衣下裳.
深衣制：to make shirt and skirt seperately then sew them toghether is 深衣制.深衣制 includes 曲裾制和直裾制.In Tang Dynasty,深衣制 spread to Japan and became the national clothing of Japan.It is also the 和服 so called today.Janpanese call it 吴服,which means the clothing is from Wu area of China.
裙制：...consists of short shirt and long dress.Korean clothing is using this formation.
