错误有好几处.
以下是我改的
XX hight school has a long history.Its 30th birthday is around the corner.Its leitmotiv about running a school is to teach students who should not only learn knowledge,but also learn how to be a good person.
某某高中有着悠久的历史.它的三十岁生日即将到来.它的教学宗旨是不仅教学生知识,还要教他们如何做人.
其中,a long就表示很长时间了,不需要再有ancient,这里是个重复.另外学校毕竟是个机构,属于物,最好改为it,所有格its.还有ideas一般表示主意,主旨宗旨之类的还是不要用它为好.

ancient是“古代的”的意思...就用long就好拉...
从上下文能看出来ideas 应为 idea（主谓单复数一致）
teach students not only [to] learn knowledge, but also [to] learn how to be a good person。teach sb. to do sth.
