1,这是一个强调rarely 的强调句型,不强调 的话应为,One rarely comes across a dead body.
rarely 是用来修饰动词comes ,所以用副词.再比如：It is last night I met him ,是在昨天晚上见到的他.
2,many of the things 是特指,这些事物中的许多,文章出现many of the things 比较多,而many things 表达,许多事情

1，一般来说这种用发比较固定，rarely修饰后面that引导的从句，that前面没有主语，如果用rare的话后面一般会接主语，it is very rare of sb.....如果你是高中生的话就死记这条规则吧
2，many of the things 是特指，强调某种事物多，一般作文，文章出现many of the things 比较多，而many things 则基本不会出现...
