Nowadays it's very common for us to learn English and master it as an important foreign language.As the most widely-spoken language, English occupies a very high statu in society.It not only helps us know the world but also bordens our view and knowledge.I think, there are several reasons for us to learn English well.First, the world today is so open that we should keep up with the developing technology, with the help of English we can learn the advaned science and technology of foreign countries. Then, we can make friends with foreigners and know more about the outside world, we can enjoy the variety of different culture and custome.Third,English has become an essential in job-hunting and further education, we have to pass some English test to get a better job when hunting a job.
In a word, it won't do any harm to us if we learn English well, but if we are poor in it, we may lose many chances.
