We would not have miss the train if we had not walk to the station.
I would rather you did not mention it to anyone else
这两句我觉得差不多啊,为什么一个是had not,一个是did not?

两种不一样的虚拟语气.
第一个是虚拟条件句,和过去事实相反,If sb.had done.,sb.would have done...
第二个是would rather+that-从句
从句用 sb.did.对应现在和将来
sb.had done 过去

应该是We would not have missed the train if we had not walked to the station
if 从句中用过去完成时，主句用would have done , 表示对过去的虚拟
would rather 后面的宾语从句用一般过去时，表示对将来的虚拟
又如 If you had come yesterday ,you...
