这里考察的是it做形式宾语的用法.这里的真正宾语是to hold the games on time.
当主语或宾语过长时,为了照顾句子结构,避免头重脚轻,我们会用it 来做形式主语或者形式宾语.
这句话是形式宾语,下面举个做形式主语的例子

第二空主要看这三个词的区别
