英语问题；awake和 wake ,sleep和 asleep 的区别

awake 是形容词
he is awake 他醒了(强调状态)
wake 是动词
he wakes up 他醒来了(强调动作)
sleep是动词或名词
例:He was still sleeping when I went in.
我走进去时他还在睡觉.
She hoped to sleep off her headache.
她希望睡一觉后头痛会好.
asleep 是形容词,通常做表语
He seems to be fast asleep.
他好像睡得很熟.
asleep 也做副词用 意思是进入睡眠状态
The fat guy dropped asleep shortly after the film began.
电影开始不久,那个胖子就睡着了. .
