为什么用one 不用what,one前面是不是该加上the?

这是定语从句,先行词是 one,后面省略了引导词 that/which：
My favorite article is one (that) I wrote about environment.
我最喜欢的文章是一篇我写的关于环境的文章.
one 前面不必加 the,这里是泛指,one = an article.当然,加 the 也是可的,变成了特指 the article.

one是代词，代指那个最喜欢的话题。 表示这是他唯一最喜欢的。

这是定语从句啊，My favorite article is one （that）I wrote about environment。one代词作表语，I wrote about environment是修饰one的定语，至于one前面加不加the，关键看说话人想表达的意思，如果说话人写过几篇关于环境的文章，那么就是泛指其中的一篇，不加the了，如果说话人只写过一篇，就可以加the，表特指。
