y the end of ...是在什么结束之前的意思
一般是跟完成时态连用的,举例说吧：I will have finished my homework by the end of the week.
at the end of ...在什么的终点或者在什么结束的地方,强调的是点
at the end of the road
at the end of the week
in the end作为一个独立的成分,后面什么都不加,表示“最后,最终”,相当于at last,finally,如He successfully passed the exam in the end.

at the end of + sth 表示...的末尾(什么时态都行)
如at the end of the show 演出尾声
by the end of + sth 表示到...的末尾为止(完成时)
如by the end of the year 到这一年尾为止
in the end 表示“最后、终于”的意思(什么时态都行)
