Analysis on the Cognition of Ultraviolet Rays by University Students of Different Genders in Guangzhou Province
Objective: to investigate the cognition and the awareness of self-protection of ultraviolet rays by university students of different genders in Guangzhou Province. Methods: a questionnaire survey was carried out within one of the universities in Guangzhou Province, which is meant to acquire the basic information on how different the cognition of ultraviolet rays by students of different genders is. Detailed contents of survey contains the basic features of ultraviolet rays, influences on the health of human, understanding of ultraviolet radiation index, protection methods and the channels acquiring them. Results: there are totally 800 students completed the survey and the study of the survey shows that in general, female students have a better cognition of ultraviolet rays than male students. Distinctions on the congnition of ultraviolet radiation index and protection methods are clearly existed between students of different genders. Conclusion:
