请教一个句子的语法,There is a parrot standing on a book.为什么stand要加ing形式
还有一个的句子,“Find five girls wearing dresses." 为什么动词都要变成动名词呢?

现在分词表主动和进行,这里stand 和parrot 之间是主动关系,所以是现在分词.
