你好carry extra stress是个动宾结构,with it是伴随情况状语,一般来讲,句尾要尽量避免代词的出现,有了代词尽量把它提到前面去,就好像give me it要说成give it to me一样.
所以
carries with it extra stress = carries extra stress with it,但习惯上写成前者.
所以
