请问为什么要用taking。。这中文的意思好像是一般现在啊。

动词ing做定语修饰two students，表示参加英语演讲比赛的学生。主句里面只能有一个主谓宾或主系表结构，前面已经有系动词are，后面的动词短语take part in要变成ing形式做定语
