Here's some steps of how you can get online and chat with people:
1. Turn on your desktop or laptop using the power button.
2. Once the window has started, look for the MSN icon on your desktop.
3. Double click on it and a small log-in window will pop up.
4. Enter you username and password. (Username is your email account address)
5. You can click on "Remember my username and password" before logging in. It will save your setting for the next time and you will not have to retype them again.
6. Once you are log on, you can see the contact list with different icons and colours.
7. If there's a green icon next to your friend's name, that means this person is online;
8. You then double click on his or her name, another small chat window will pop up.

10. On the bottom of this chat window is where you type in all your words and greetings.
11. On the top it will show the records of your conversation with this person.
12. You can also choose to use webcam by clicking on the webcam option or icon that's located next to your photo and username on the small window.

14. If they accpet it, you can start talking to them and able to see them at the same time!
