70% of the students think cyber language is a result of the information age, which can be regarded as a new form of grass-roots culture. They also think cyber language is easy to learn and understand, so it is convenient to use. Besides, cyber language can enrich their school life because many words used on line are fun and cool.
However, the rest don’t think so. Firstly, they think some cyber language words are rude and informal. Secondly, they say the Chinese language is the foundation of our great culture. Overusing cyber language will cause young people to forget our traditional culture gradually.
In my opinion, it is dangerous to use too much cyber language, for it may do great harm to our mother tongue. As the foundation of the traditional culture, the Chinese language is the standard language. We teenagers should learn it well and at the same time hand our traditional culture down.
