Firstly, to all the Chinese, Spring Festival is a new beginning more than an end of the year. People send the best wishes to each other with hoping for a better life in the new-coming year. They hold the best performance to congratulate for the great contribution they've got and pray for a more promising life.
Secondly, Spring Festival means a family union for the Chinese. No matter where they are and no matter what they are doing, people will stop every activity to return home for a family union. At that moment the emotion conquors everything. It is the same with people who have changed their nationality. They also celebrite the Spring Festival in other countries.
Every festival has its own special meaning. With the growth of our nation, Chinese festival becomes more and more fashionable and international. Colourful activities are organized in areas inhabited by Chinese people and even by people abroad.
