B there be结构中be的单复数是看离be近的那个名词短语的单复数的
a lot of people 许多人，是复数，应该用are
C a third one=another one，这里的意思是再吃一个，而不是吃特定的第三个，所以说应该用不定冠词a,而不是定冠词the

第一道后面的a lot of people是复数,所以很自然的前面应该用are
第二道题后面的 但我还想吃第三个,这里的第三个苹果并没有指定是哪个苹果,因此不能用the,那么只有答案C了
第三道题首先要知道besides是包含在内的,比如除了这件衣服的颜色,它的款式我也很喜欢。那么，这里就不能用besides了，except for后面是不跟句子的，所以只能选B了。...
