lending与borrowing的区别

orrow指往里借,比如may i borrow your book?
i borrowed a book from jim.
lend指借出.i lend a pen to mary.
我借给了mary一支笔.
lend是“往外借”,就是把东西借给别人
borrow是“往里借”,从别人那借东西
I borrowed the book from he=He lent the book to me.
主要知道往里借还是往外借就行了
lend的主语是“借出方”,borrow的主语是“接到方”
所以如果你要管别人借书的话可以说:
Could you lend the book to me?
Could I borrow the book (from you)?

lending是你借出，借给。如，I am going to lend you $10我准备借给你10美元
borrowing是你借进，向谁借，如:Can I borrow $10 from you,我能向你借10美元吗？

May I borrow your pen ?我可以借你的笔用吗？
Can you lend me pen ? 你能借支笔给我用吗？

lending是借入，borrowing是借出
