· not just dependant on one control command
· Humans are like machines made of carbon
· Artificial life is made of silicon.
· study of biology helps the development of robots
Benefits:As technology improves,we can better understand how nature works by using technology to support a manmade biosphere (i.e.supply air,generate waves… etc).also technology can aid us in military,
o soldiers would be able to train in stimulators
o might even be able to fight our war without being present at the battlefield
Irony:When technology has improved till artificial life is able to amuse and help us,we feel proud.However,if our successors are superior to us and out of our control,we would feel fearful of them.
Being proud humans,we will continue to create artificial life until they are perfect,and when we realize the impact,it will be too late.
However,sometimes scientists become too engrossed and fail to see the full consequence of their research as well as the impacts on society’s ethics.
Therefore,scientists should consider the different perspectives and positive negative implications of their work to prevent things from getting out of hand.
