My opinion on the popularity of pop Idol-style shows.

In recent years,more and more pop idol-style shows are aired on television stations,which captivated a lot of audiences.Many young people are crazy about these shows.
People have divergent opinions concerning this phenomenon.Some people hold that these shows provided young people with an opportunity to demonstrate their talents and realize their own value.It is very interesting to see ordinary people like ourselves achieve fame and success by participating in these shows.Moreover,the shows bring great pleasure and excitement to viewers’ lives.We often see young and old alike being glued to their TV sets for fear of missing one contest.However,there are still quite a few people who strongly oppose these shows.Considering them as misleading and uneducated,they hope they are banned from TV.
As far as I’m concerned,I prefer the first opinion.These shows reflect reality and the situation of ordinary people.As long as they are entertaining and inspiring us,there is great sense in keeping and encouraging them.
