根据句意的话应该是didn't know much about. anything用于否定句式，表示任何事情，原句是说爸爸知道一些关于这个城市的历史，改成否定句的话可以说成是爸爸不知道很多关于这座城市的历史，或者说爸爸不知道关于这座城市的任何历史。所以说这里填much 或者anything 都可以
