My hometown
My hometown locates near a lovely forest.A few years before,great trees which had been growing for centuries had covered the countryside for miles around.Different species of animals and birds lived in the forest and I still remember my childhood,which is spent with my friends playing and dancing in the forest.But,everything changed now.
Serious deforestation has cause loss of habitat of animals.In order to increase the area of farmland,villagers are working day and night now to plant vegetables.However,due to the leaching,the soil lost fertility now; nearly no plant is suitable to grow.The destroyed forest slows down the speed of transpiration.The rainfall decrease dramatically.The river dry up quickly.
How I wish to come back to the time before!We are now preparing to move to other towns.
