The summer holiday is ending in a blink of an eye. Again, I am welcoming a new school year. However, I am transitioning into (entering) high school this time. As I am starting a brand new life, I have set out new goals (targets). The following are my plans: Firstly, I will pay close attention during classes and complete my homework earnestly at home. I will not put off today's problems till tomorrow, so that my studies can progress in a smooth flow. Secondly, I will spend large amount of time in doing lesson preparation and revision, so that I willl have a better grasp on both new and old knowledge. Last but not least, I will try my best to spare some time for reading some useful books to improve my extracurrcular knowledge. As the saying goes, a good beginning is half the battle won. I look forward to more improvement in the new school year.

My name is Sherry. This year I am transitioning into the first grade of senior high. I am more of a quite person, and I like to stay at home to read. A meaningful book can make me happy. Sometimes, I hang out with my friend whose name is Daisy. She is a cheerful girl, I like her very much. I have a lot of strengths. For example, I am very honest and I never tell lies. Besides that, I am trustworthy, and always keep to my promises. Nevertheless, I have some weaknesses too. I am a procrastinator who tend to do things too slowly. Because of this, I have faced a lot of problems. I will correct this as soon as possible. The new school year has begun, and I will make more friends and get along well with my classmates.
