一般都是用the same.都是固定用法,记住就行了.英语有很多都是这样的,要解释确实比较难.

应用the same school 此处为特指
通常 a same thing 指不同但相近的事物。He has a same pen as mine.
the same thing指同一事物。 He led me to the same place where the accident took place.

用the.
the是特指，a不是确指某一个。这里“我们在一所学校”已经是确指“这所学校”，所以用the.
而且the same 是固定搭配，还要注意后面的名词是单数，用介词要用as:the same as也是固定搭配。
