Thomas Edison was born on Feb.11,1847,in Milan,Ohio.Shortly after he could talk he started asking everyone he knew questionsabout how things worked..As he grew older,he loved to read.he was convinced through all his reading that one shouldn't base one,s beliefs on the writings of others,but prove for oneselfhow things work.He then adopted the beliefthat the original idea is the best.Among of hie inventions were the light bulb,the phonograph,the dictograph,the mimeograph and the first silent film.He died on Oct.18,1931,in New Jersey.he was 84 years old.
