In this paper,a new method to determine and remove cloud shadow for MinBand compositing was proposed.This method difference with other Minband approaches is in that it compares the least two pixels to determine the possible shadow status rather than discard a minimum one simply.All shadow pixels could be determined by iteration of this procedure two or three times according to the composite period.After all the possible shadow pixels were removed,the closest approximation of earth surface reflectance can be retrieved.
