TO GET THERE ON TIME, WE STARTED AT 5 IN THE MORNING.一个英语句子中只能有一个谓语动词或者复合谓语，那么不能做谓语的，我们就把它变成非谓语动词。 同时注意不定式与现在分词在时间表达上的区别。我觉得不能用GETTING.
