请问“两个量”是从哪儿翻译出来的？ 怎么理解“one quantity is contained in the other quantity”？

原句中没有这两个量，只是说of the same kind，就是同类别（单位）的，我只是觉得这样翻译过来容易理解。 is contained in 是包含于，就是说一个量包含于另一个量，和前面的number of times联系起来就是一个量包含另一个量的倍数。

什么叫“一个量包含另一个量的倍数”？不理解啊。

先换成the number of times A is contained in B 分成两部分来想 A is contained in B 表示B中所包含的A ， the number of times表示倍数。所以理解为B中有多少A，也就是A是B的多少倍。就像数学里说的A占B的几分之几，B是A的几倍。
