it is years of hard that has made him what he is today.这个句子是强调句.去掉了it is that之后就变成 years of hard has made him what he is today.years of hard 作句子的主语,has made 是谓语 后面的是宾语

差不多懂了 为什么不能选A啊 翻译成 正是因为多年的努力使他有了今天的成就。 还有这个题 it is because it is raining___istay at home 为什么答案也是that 选why的话翻译成正是因为下雨 ，所以我呆在家里啊

it is ......that引导的名词性从句应该就是“以it作形式主语、that引导主语从句”的句型。 it is years of hard ___has made him what he is today. 这个句子已经有了主语 是一个完整的句子 若是用why 句子就有问题了 it is because it is raining___istay at home 这个句子中已经有了because 所以不能用我why 只能用that

句子结构肯定是不完整的，两种可能性，一，不是hard,而是hardship；二，hard后面丢了work
