This afternoon a charity sale was held on the playground in our school. The topic was ONE for ONE. In fact it was the charity sale of books. Many students took their second-hand books to the ground. There were all kinds of books on sale. Such as story books, scientific books, cartoon books and so on. The books were a little old, but they were very useful. It's the most important that they were much cheaper than the ones in the bookshop. For example, a very thick book was only one yuan. So there were many students chooing their favourite books. The atmosphere was very active. And most of students bough their favourite books.
I think this activity is very meaningful. In this way we can earn some money by ourselves. And it's very helpful for some poor students who can't afford the expensive books in the library. I hope we can have more activities like this in the future.
