可以把括号里面的先扣掉
这里缺少一个 引导词 引导表语从句,在从句中做表语成分
只能选 what
that how 不做句子成分,which不能引导表语从句

what it was "它过去所是的”（这是一个小的宾语从句，what 作了was 的宾语）
幸亏新的农耕方法，现在的产量是2000年以前的六倍。
这里的空就缺个宾语，所以只能填what, 其它的词都作不了宾语。
你只要记住这个短语就行了：what I said “我所说的”，然后，你可以把它引申开来：
