that只能在用which的时候代替吧。
D 这个定语从句是用来修饰时间“the year”的，从句主谓宾完整，“when”充当的是状语的部分，所以应该用when。
补充题应该选C，理由一样，定语从句是修饰地点“the library”的，从句主谓宾完整，“where”在从句中是状语的部分，答案不受从句中的in影响，因为in是接着后面的“a world of good books”...
