The global village has emerged via the birth of the information age.From the age of teleprinters,we have come to the age of radios,TVs,fax machines,computers,the Internet.These current developments in information technology and communication are really astounding and they make global village possible and bring so many conveniences.Yet,some problems arise like how to deal with cultural differences.Here are some tips.
To begin with,we should be inclusive.Once we start to see people as individuals and discard the stereotypes ,we can move positively toward inclusiveness for everyone.
Furthermore,conquer the cultural differences is about coming together and taking advatage of our differences and similarities.It is about building better communities and organizations that enhance us as individuals and reinforce our shared humanity.
Finally,we should question our assumptions and challenge what we think we have learned from our past,from the media,peers,family,etc.We need to train ourselves to think differently,shift our mindests and realize that diversity opens doors for all of us ,creating oppotunities in organizations and communities that benefit everyone
