1.to live 是动词不定式表用途,也就是说,动物园为濒危动物提供干净而安全的地方的用途是居住.例：They brought me something to eat. 他们给我带了些吃的.（to eat就是表用途,something是用来吃的）
2. live是不及物动词,后面不能直接加宾语,要想加宾语,才在后面加in.而此句Live后面无宾语,不必加in.
但如是定语从句,如：This is the house which Jack once lived in.这就是Jack从前住过的房子. which是关系代词 作lived in的宾语,再如：This is the house where Jack once lived. where 是关系副词作lived的地点状语,所以此时lived后也不加IN.
riding in cars处是现在分词短语,要用副词not修饰,是不搭乘小汽车的意思
如把它看作是动名词短语,则前面必用no,此处no是形容词,修饰后面的动名词,是禁止乘坐小汽车的意思
