1 A Day to Remember
It was Sunday.Our teacher Mr Zhu led us to a park nearby.Usually we go to the park to spend our holiday.But today we went there to take part in voluntary labour.
We got there at nine o'clock.Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working.
The students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers.The studentsin Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist.They also cleaned the benches in the park.I was in Group Three.We went to the children's playground and cleaned all the equipment there.We worked very hard.
At about eleven we finished working.We met at the gate of the park.We all felt tired but very happy.
2 It was a sunny day today,when i got up in the morning,i decided to see my grandparents.so i took the bus and got there at noon,they were happy to see me,and i was very happy,too.
In the afternoon,my farther asked me to help him water the plant,and i was happy to see the flowers smiling in the wind.
In a word,today is a unforgetive day.because i saw my relatives and helped people.
3 My Day
Today I have a good time.In the morning I got up early as usual.Then I went to play basketball with my friends.They live near my house,so we can play together.In the afternoon we went to have a picnic in the park.The weather was fine.We saw many people playing in the park.It is good to see so many people enjoying the holiday.In the evening I cooked supper for my family.I love them.So I want to do some housework.After supper,I did the dishes.Then I watched some TV programs which I like.After that I went to bed at ten.I am very happy today.
4 One day of my summer holiday Today is sunny.The sky is blue.THE clouds are white.I get up early,because I and my mother are going to a zoo.We are going to the zoo on foot.What a big zoo!Look,there is a kangaroo on the grass.It is running.There are two lions.They are fighting.There is a bear under the tree.The bear is sleeping,how cute!There is a monkey on the tree.It is climbing the tree.How funny!There is an elephant near the river.It is drinking water now.Today I am happy.I love animals.
5 A Day in My Summer VacationLast summer I spent a two-week vacation at my aunt's place.My aunt lived alone in a mountain village,with a small river winding its course everyday.One morning I went fishing in the river,where two women washed clothes.I fimnd a most favorable point.Casting out my line I waited anxiously for a bite.Suddenly there came a cry:"Help!Help!" I looked in the direction of the call and saw a boy falling into the river.Throwing the fishing pole,I dashed over like an arrow,jumped into the river and swam very quickly towards the boy.Then together with his mother I carried the boy on my back to a nearby hospital.That boy was saved.The mother gave me a thousand thanks.Back to my fishing place,I fimnd my fishing pole floating on the water.I managed to get it.But to my great surprise,there was a big fish on the hook.
