rather than不是介词词组吗?为什么prefer to do rather than do中rather than后面加do?
介词后面不是应该加doing吗?

这是固定搭配,还有一个would rather than do sth 宁愿做某事,than 有时表介词,在这里不表介词,和to一样

这是一个固定搭配，prefer to do rather than do 应该解释为 prefer to+动词原形+ rather than +动词原形
其实固定搭配，楼主就记得是固定搭配就好了，就像汉语里面的因为所以一样，不能问为什么要这样，只是它就是这样，规定的而已
