我也看错了,以为是前后主语一致,看成fixed了
这题是独立主格,前半句不是完整句子,但又自己的逻辑主语（和后半句主句不同）,fix及物、不及物都行,这里用主动fix表完成,相当于动名词概念；用被动的话,解释和我最开始说的一样,是个笑话.
用being fixed,那后半句不成笑话了,定下来才能散会啊

break是不及物动词,无被动.况且这里也没说是谁打碎的.

instructed?介词as 后为何不用动名词instructing?
You take the medicine as you are instructed.这句是省略从句主语的方式状语从句,you和instruct的是被动（动宾）关系
