thought既然是“想法”,就应该是一个确定的观点,一般不用疑问引导词来引导.
把句子简化一下吧
Tom is able to forget a thought ___ he had no real parents.
如果选why,意思就是“Tom 能够忘记他是否没有亲生父母这件事"
这样不是很怪吗?所以我觉得选A
